School Survival

After the best summer ever we all have headed back to school.  Everyone is doing great!  We all worked hard last week and are being extra lazy this weekend.  Every kid moved on this year as we are in odd years, Tommy in 5th grade, Austin in 3rd and Ashley has moved on to the big kid room in the daycare.  Tommy likes his teacher and Austin is happy to have his teacher he had in kindergarten again (Tommy was a bit sad to have to move on but he's cool and will do great).  Tommy has also told me he is enjoying Science (with me) so kudos to me.  Austin will crack me up telling me very seriously about DEAR time how they have to stop whatever they are doing and read.  Ashley lets everyone know that she is not a baby anymore, she's a big girl.  And that was ever apparent as I spotted her in the room using SCISSORS!!! And properly I should add.  My oh my!

1st day of school!
2nd day of school; it pained me to erase my snoopy and woodstock.

Cute! Love the pic you drew on your board. Madeline had the best time with Ashley in the big kid room - she kept pointing her out to me in church yesterday. :)

Glad your year is off to a good start! This school thing is a whole new world... you're my hero for handling it with 3 AND a classroom of your own!

Thanks Beth! Ashley really is loving the big girl daycare. I know she really enjoys the TR when Maddie and Emma are both there.

It can be a bit crazy in the mornings and shuffling here and there for after school activities but I love it! Prime of my life Beth. :)

Awesome photo of the kids!! Good one of the momma too! I love Snoopy!! The kids are beautiful, but I really have to say that I love Ashley's outfit--so stylish that little one!! Could she be any cuter?? She looks totally hugable!

Oh my goodness, they are all so cute! When did Ashley get so big? It is so fun to see them do new skills like scissors, but it does make you wonder where the times has gone. I hope that the school year is going well and the kiddos (and you) are all settling back into the school year routine!
