I refuse...
Joe is on what seems like a perpetual diet and after a rough winter decided to hit it again last week. I'm usually all supportive but I've had enough of his dieting and have set out to sabotage it right away. I bought the biggest bag of Reese's pieces, cookies, chips, pop, anything to help me win. Besides just like the hippos on Madagascar 2, "I like em big, I like em chunky!" Well he hasn't succumbed to my devilish food delights and is almost 10 days in. Maybe now with it being a game of "can't cave into Dawn" he'll actually lose some weight. And I will gain because I can dumpster candy like no other.
Speaking of the hippos, my Grandpa has found love again at the ripe old age of 79 with a 75 yo Philly named Willie (Wilma). They are so cute together and I haven't seen a happier couple. They are both big people and I can just see my Grandpa getting up the nerve to ask her out by saying "girl, you huge" in that deep Will.I.AM voice. Gotta get that vision out of my head. However they got together I don't care, I have not seen my Grandpa this happy in a long time. Young love, it's so beautiful.

True love that supports the husband's diet plan. Whatever floats the boat. Good luck Joe!
Happy to hear about g'pa. That is just too cute.
Julie - of course he could probably lose a few pounds just by giving up his beer. But he doesn't see that as part of his problem. :/
You are too funny! I would love for Dennis to diet and you are trying to jeopardize your hubbys efforts! Shame on you, what kind of wife are you?;)
Well, I hope Joe loses weight and you find it;)
Seriously though, good news about your grandpa. It's gotta be hard to be alone so much! Glad he's found someone to share his time with!
you crack me up! Good luck to Joe on his dieting....or you on trying to sabotage his effort! : )~
Adam's Grandma is dating too! It's so cute. (a gentlemen from Reese too!) It's awesome to see them together and both seem so happy!
"I can dumpster candy like no other." - LOL! You and my hubby are the biggest saboteurs EVER :-)
Sherri - That is neat about Adam's Grandma. We've also found that they are just like teenagers. One of Grandpa's old flames was at Papio's and I couldn't believe the trash talk. Kind of funny.
Amy & Daiva - I know I'm bad. Poor Joe, he doesn't stand a chance. Which really just means new but bigger clothes for him.
Congratulations to your grandpa! What a neat story!
As for the diet, Drew is a junk food fanatic and I have learned how to eat healthy despite all of the temptation in the house. You should see our cabinets, we have more junk food than most supermarkets. I figure it builds character, right?
Good for you resisting temptation. I think I have officially beaten Joe with this thing. The neighbors brought over two big desserts that he partook of, he hit McDonald's one morning. He so failed not even three weeks in. Muwahaaa!!
