Zoinks! Help!

We have a critter in our house!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahh!!!!!!

We can hear it in our bedroom in the ceiling. It's probably just a mouse but freaks me out just the same. And Joe did all this proactive work catching mice outside because we had corn in the field behind us again.

Ugh, reminds me of living at home. I'd hear them in the walls all the time and there was one time I woke up, exited my bedroom and had a dead one in a trap right in front of me. It must have not quite died and traveled about 6-8 feet from where the trap was before succumbing. I've lived here almost 8 years and we've only had one live mouse in the house and thankfully Joe & Tommy got it within an hour. I can still see/hear Tommy who was probably almost 4 at the time with a hockey stick going after him saying "we're berry hunters!"

Well Joe thinks he's gone now. I don't believe it! EEK! EEK! EEK!

I agree on the cat! I also have to say that I would have packed up and been out of our house by now. I hate mice. I hope he is gone fast. Time to put out some traps and decon!

Oh, my gosh! I'd be freaked too!

I hate mice and I hate things in the walls!

Then I would worry that they would die behind those walls, then my house would smell, and on and on! Call Orkin:)

Being that I am alergic to cats, we just have to put traps out! Since we've been here, we've had 1 dead mouse in the house....the pole barn is another story! UGH

Remember the mouse in my house when Josh killed it with the broom?
I know the feeling of hearing them in the walls. They are soooooo gross.

Ah, thanks girls! We haven't heard from our friend since yesterday morning so hopefully he found his way out and didn't die inside. Yuck, Yuck, Yuck!!

Renee H! - So glad to see you in here and how could I forget the "paper or plastic" deal. Hehe, too funny. That was winter 2000 and I was pregnant with Tommy! I was the lucky one to spot the little critter and was promptly on the chair.

And yep, cat allergies here too. :(

You guys are to funny. We had a mouse or two in the 15 years we've lived hear but, mice don't do well with dogs either.

We are no strangers to mice here. We have them contained to behind the fridge but we get about 5 a year.

Thanks again girls! I'm glad to say we haven't seen or heard from our little friend.

Lisa - Dad's mice used to hang out behind the fridge, and also in the basement! Ick, ick, ick! Doesn't your kitty help with them?

I am with you Dawn, the little critters freak me out! We have not seen one here and I am hoping our 3 kitties are a deterrent, but I am sure someday I will wake up to a kitty giving me a gift!

Kiera Beth - I can handle dead ones better than live ones. Snakes are my biggest fear though, I could never live in Alabama or Florida and such. I hope you don't end up with any kitty treats soon.
