4 month sleep regression

Okay, so this waking up every 2-3 hours in the middle of the night now is for the birds but apparently it's fairly common. It all started Wednesday and we're in night four of this bullarky! I started googling 4 month old and got a bunch of hits on sleep regression. Scary comments - some kids didn't get better. Crap!!! My good sleeper from day 1 is now kicking my butt at 4 months. All I can say is thank goodness I don't have to work.

Tommy has an 8:00 baseball game in Millington so it's almost time to get up anyways.

Yikes!! Hope it gets better. Could be a growth spurt, which, I think, causes them to sleep less.

Good luck!

Oh dear.... Leila was always a so-so sleeper and last week it also got worse... I will make a post about it as soon as I am done drinking my 25th cup of coffee here... and remember my log in info.

Amy - I just hope it's short lived and maybe it is a growth spurt.

Daiva - Sorry about Leila. Your humor is so cute. Hopefully we'll both be able to say woah on the caffeine tomorrow.

I have a sleeper, I'm going to bed and am wishing and hoping for a better night!

I'm hoping that since Marcus has never been that great of a sleeper he will get better from here on out. I'm sick of seeing the acronym "sttn"

Sorry Lesley - These little buggers are worth our sanity I guess. ;) I hope Marcus will "sttn" for you soon. And whatever he lacks in sleep he makes up in chubby cuteness.

Dawn I'm sorry to hear our little princess is not sleeping well.
I'm sure it will get better.
Get lots of naps!)

Oh no...I hope it's just a little phase and everyone gets some sleep soon. You're pretty lucky though - spending all that time looking at Ashley's precious face! She is absolutely delicious!!

I agree - the waking up every 2-3 hours really isn't GREAT but it sounds like she isn't trying to STAY up (in her defense). She is growing and staying awake more, rolling, giggling and talking ... let's hope it is a growth spurt and she goes back to her heavenly ways very soon.

Jill - Love my naps! And today she had great naps! I not so much but she slept in for me so that helped.

Julie - You are always coming to her defense. You will never ever say anything negatory about her will you? Hopefully it is just a growth spurt.

Barbara - I agree and thank you. She is truly a beauty, and her smile just melts me.

I'm voting growth spurt too!! Hang in there mama!

Thanks Deb - And now when I should be sleeping because she is sleeping I can't sleep! Ahhh!!! As soon as I drift off she'll probably be waking up. Help me!!

I hope that she starts sleeping through the night again soon (and that you get to sleep through the night).
